2. Roles and Scope
Neda may act as a service provider or processor when processing information for a Business Customer under that customer's instructions.
Neda may act as a business or controller when processing information for its own account management, security, support, analytics, product improvement, model development, marketing, financial services, referral, or legal purposes, and when Neda has established a direct relationship with a Consumer under Section 3(D).
Neda may act in both roles with respect to the same Consumer at different times or for different purposes. Where Neda acts as a controller, this Privacy Policy governs. Where Neda acts solely as a service provider, the Business Customer's own privacy notice may also apply, and a specific collection notice controls if it conflicts with this Privacy Policy.

Third-party payment processors generally collect and process payment-card information directly. Neda is designed not to store raw payment-card numbers, CVV codes, or similar full payment credentials. Neda may receive limited payment identifiers, status, amount, currency, refund, dispute, or billing information.
Sensitive information may include precise location, account credentials, government identifiers, health or treatment information submitted to a Business Customer, biometric information, financial account information, or information revealing sensitive characteristics. 5. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to:
- The Business Customer and authorized staff involved in a request;

We may also disclose Derived Data, which does not reasonably identify an individual, for any lawful purpose.
Sale and sharing under California law
Some of the disclosures described above — in particular, disclosures to financing, insurance, service contract, and vehicle sales providers in exchange for referral, origination, or commission compensation — may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
Neda makes these disclosures only where a Consumer has affirmatively opted in. You may opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our website or by contacting us at 222 N Pacific Coast Hwy, El Segundo, CA 90245. We honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where required.
• Neda does not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Neda does not sell or share the Personal Information of Consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
6. Consent Tiers, Messaging, and Communications
Neda maintains separate, independently revocable consent for each of the following purposes. Consent to one does not imply consent to another.
| Tier | Covers | How obtained |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Transactional | Appointment confirmations, service status, security and account notices | At the point of service or account creation |
| 2. Marketing | Service reminders, follow-up on declined or deferred work, campaigns, review requests | Separate affirmative opt-in |
| 3. Financial offers | Financing, payment plans, service contracts, insurance | Separate affirmative opt-in at the time offered |
| 4. Third-party sharing | Disclosure to insurance, lending, dealer, or other partners for their own use | Separate affirmative opt-in, with the categories of recipients identified |
You may withdraw consent for any tier at any time. Reply STOP to opt out of Neda-originated marketing text messages, HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential transactional or security communications while you use the relevant service.
We retain records of consent, including the language presented, method, date, time, and any revocation.
7. Data Retention
Neda retains Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, providing and securing the Services, maintaining account and business records, preserving AI scan and score history, supporting auditability, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing agreements.
| Category | Retention standard |
|---|---|

| Consumer contact and communication records | For the relevant business relationship and up to 36 months afterward, subject to legal exceptions. |
| Vehicle Data and Service Records | Up to 7 years from the date of the record, reflecting the multi-year service life of a vehicle and the need for accurate service history, valuation, and safety context. |
| Consent, opt-out, and revocation records | Minimum 5 years, or longer where required by communications or consumer-protection law. |
| AI scans, scores, prompts, and metadata | Up to 24 months after the scan or latest account activity. |
| Raw AI artifacts and citations | Up to 12 months, unless needed for an active dispute, audit, investigation, or legal obligation. |
| Audit and security records | Up to 24 months, or longer where necessary for security, fraud prevention, or compliance. |
| Financing and referral records | As required by applicable financial services, lending, and insurance recordkeeping law. |
| Transactions, billing, and backups | As required by applicable tax, accounting, legal, and backup requirements. |
| Derived Data | Retained indefinitely. Derived Data does not identify individuals and is not subject to deletion requests. |
When information is no longer required, Neda deletes it, de-identifies it, or securely isolates it, subject to legal, security, backup, dispute, and fraud-prevention exceptions.
8. Security
Neda uses tenant-scoped access controls, role-based permissions, tool authorization, encryption in transit and at rest, secret and key-management controls, audit logs, PII minimization and redaction, monitoring, testing, rate limiting, and incident-response procedures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. AI Features
Neda may use AI to classify intent, extract business facts, analyze content, normalize service descriptions, test AI-assistant responses, identify competitors and citations, estimate service timing, draft recommendations, and support workflows. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, stale, or inconsistent. Neda does not guarantee that any AI assistant will mention, recommend, rank, or accurately describe a business.
Neda may use information processed through the Services to develop and improve its models and analytics. Where such use is not necessary to provide the Services to a Business Customer, Neda performs it on Derived Data.
10. Automated Decision-Making
Neda uses automated processing to prioritize communications, estimate service timing, generate scores, and determine which offers may be relevant to a Consumer. Neda does not make credit, insurance, or eligibility decisions. Those decisions are made by third-party providers under their own criteria and disclosures. Where applicable law grants rights to opt out of automated decision-making or to request an explanation, you may exercise them under Section 12.
11. Children and International Users
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and Neda does not knowingly collect Personal Information from them. The Services are primarily operated from the United States; information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where Neda or service providers operate.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to know whether we process Personal Information, access or obtain a copy, correct inaccurate information, delete information, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive Personal Information, withdraw consent, receive portable information, appeal a privacy decision, and receive equal service and pricing when exercising rights.
California residents have the rights above under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information described in Section 5. Neda honors legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required.
To exercise rights: email info@withneda.com, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, or use the opt-out instructions in any message. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
Where Neda processes information solely on behalf of a Business Customer, we will forward your request to that Business Customer and direct you accordingly. Where Neda acts as a controller — including where you have consented directly to Neda — we will process your request ourselves.
Deletion requests do not extend to Derived Data, which does not identify individuals, or to information Neda must retain under law.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, AI assistants, map providers, payment processors, booking systems, CRM and shop-management systems, vehicle data providers, lenders, insurers, communication providers, and other services. Neda does not control third-party privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information.
14. Vehicle and Motor Vehicle Records
Neda processes Vehicle Data provided by Business Customers and Consumers, and obtained from authorized commercial vehicle history and valuation providers. Neda does not obtain personal information from state motor vehicle department records except as expressly permitted under the Driver's Privacy Protection Act and applicable state law.
15. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version and changing the Updated date. If a change materially affects how we use or share previously collected information, we will provide additional notice and, where required, obtain consent before applying the change to that information.
